I don’t do a lot of crafting with my children. James is very much still at the crayon-eating stage which makes doing anything while he is awake quite tough. Moreover I have enough trouble keeping my house tidy without all the extra mess that kiddie-crafting creates. Last time I let Bobby do some painting we ended up with turquoise handprints on all the doors. Luckily this was just before we had our house completely redecorated, so it wasn’t too much of a disaster.
This week, whilst James has been napping, Bobby and I have been making a few Christmas cards. Bobby loves a bit of sticking and having a kitchen table covered with glitter makes me feel so much more festive.
